The latest update for Bitcraft introduces a wealth of new activities, cosmetics, and quality-of-life improvements. This patch focuses heavily on the Uncharted Islands, adding new gameplay loops centered around smithing, carpentry, treasure hunting, and sailing.

New Gameplay Loops in the Uncharted Islands
Players exploring the Uncharted Islands can now engage in several new professions and activities:
- Smithing: Collect Pirate’s Weapons from footlockers near shipwrecks. Repair them at nearby furnaces, geysers, whetstones, or anvils. Repaired weapons can be sold for Doubloons or melted into Emarium Ingots at a Smithing Workstation.
- Carpentry: Repair shipwrecked steering wheels using planks found nearby. Planks must be dried on the beach before use. Completed steering wheels can be sold for Doubloons or salvaged into Sturdy Planks at a Carpentry Workstation.
- Treasure Hunting: Pirate’s Map Fragments are found randomly during any Uncharted Islands activity. Ten fragments can be combined into a Pirate’s Map, which unlocks a new prospecting activity rewarding Doubloons, Trinket Drops, Maker’s fruits, or a rare Hat for Uggo.
- Sailing: New Uncharted Shipments appear in the Uncharted Ocean. Once opened, their contents can be looted by anyone in the area for a short time, providing Doubloons and Pirate’s Map Fragments.
New Food Items and Decorations
Several new food items have been added, each providing unique buffs:
- Sushi: Increases fishing speed drastically but decreases crafting and boat movement speed. Made with tropical fish fillets, rice, and salt.
- Curry: Increases cart speed. Made with rice, aidunno sauce, and mincemeat.
- Omurice: Increases mount speed. Made with rice, sagi bird egg, and mincemeat.
New decorative options include volcanic rock and beach sand as pillar shaping materials, tropical trees (young and mature), and purely decorative Lava Pool and Volcanic Geyser buildings. A new trophy for Fihs provides a fishing buff when interacted with. The decoration "Uggo, Terror of the Seas" is crafted from a mythic uggo and a new treasure hunting item, offering a small buff.
Star Stones and Hairstyles
Star Stones have received significant improvements. They are now withdrawable from the vault and tradeable. Additionally, they can be displayed as furniture decorations in the world. Shard Star Stones have had their size increased by 50% to better reflect their rarity.
Six new hairstyles have been added: Swoop, Medium Shag, Long Shag, Small Hawk, Twin Buns, and Twin Small Tails. New players start with these unlocked, while existing players can unlock them at the Twins for 10 hexcoins each. A short quest, "A Small Celebration," rewards players with free Party crackers and premium party decorations.
Gameplay Changes and Bug Fixes
Several changes improve the player experience:
- Hexite Particles now appear around the Hexite Vault to indicate when it becomes lootable. The vault itself provides a light source buff when lootable, preventing mobs from interrupting looting.
- Placing items from inventory now chains like paving, eliminating the need to go through the UI each time.
- Speeds when moving in deployables are now additive, which generally lowers top speeds. The developers plan to raise maximum possible speed buffs in the future.
- A recipe to convert three tropical fish fillets into fertilizer has been added.
- Sell prices for Mature Coconuts, Volcanic Bricks, and Rice have been increased.
- The amount of Doubloons from Uncharted Treasure drops when foraging has been increased.
- The amount of fish oil and tropical fish fillets given by tropical fish has been reduced.
Numerous bug fixes address issues with stats, hermit crab traps, map markers, cape and crown visibility, market search performance, paving speeds, movement speed stats, placeable interactions, client-server movement speed mismatches, login screen crashes, resource respawning, nested item lists, empire crown reactivation, and Claims UI layout.
