EVE Online's Fractured Skies expansion launches on November 10. It opens a new chapter for lowsec Factional Warfare that builds toward the first Conquest in February, with new navy ships, a new rig type and a permanent link to EVE Vanguard. Full expansion notes follow on November 6.
Military Campaigns
Ancient artifacts are surfacing across New Eden, and the four empires want them for their race for Drifter technology. From November 10, each empire runs a two-month Military Campaign, with Amarr against Minmatar and Caldari against Gallente. Any pilot can take part, enlisted in Factional Warfare or not.
Pilots advance a campaign by hacking containers, destroying non-capsuleer forces, damaging enemy capsuleers or mining ore, earning ISK, Loyalty Points and exclusive rewards. Completed objectives earn system-wide bonuses, such as faster warp speed, from January 5. A live event in mid-January then brings all four empires together in lowsec.

Navy Attack Battlecruisers
Four navy attack battlecruisers arrive, sold only in the Factional Warfare LP stores. Each gains speed, firepower, an extra fitting slot and a utility high slot.
- Naga Navy Issue: cruise missile and torpedo launchers replace its large hybrid turrets
- Tornado Fleet Issue: a very large projectile rate of fire bonus
- Oracle Navy Issue: an extra low slot
- Talos Navy Issue: more mobile, with a falloff bonus in place of tracking

New Synchronizer Rigs grow stronger with every matching faction module fitted. There are nine sets in three sizes, covering the four empires and five pirate factions.
EVE Vanguard and New Pilots
EVE Vanguard gets its first 24/7 connection to EVE Online, and each contract its warclones complete adds more campaign sites in highsec and lowsec. From November 10, anyone can buy Founder's Access to the Vanguard Alpha in the EVE launcher, separate from Omega.
New pilots in Exordium get 13 free, pre-fitted AIR Academy Ships, and an opt-in new HUD arrives in Feature Preview.
