Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the next major content update for Mists of Pandaria Classic will arrive on June 2, 2026. The update, titled "Siege of Orgrimmar," introduces a wealth of new features including the Timeless Isle, a sprawling multi-part raid, and the conclusion of the Legendary Cloak questline.
Players in World Of Warcraft will see the narrative arc of Garrosh Hellscream reach its climax. The Warchief's corruption of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms has pushed the Horde and Alliance to a breaking point, requiring heroes to storm the capital city itself.
New Zone: Timeless Isle
A mysterious island has emerged off the coast of the Jade Forest. The Timeless Isle is a dense, hostile zone filled with rare creatures, hidden treasures, and dynamic events. Adventurers can reach it from their faction's shrine in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
A new reputation faction, Emperor Shaohao, offers rewards earned through combat. A new currency, Timeless Coins, can be spent on items such as the Heavenly Golden Cloud Serpent mount and the Harmonious Porcupette battle pet.
Legendary Cloak Conclusion
Wrathion's questline reaches its end. Players who have followed the Black Prince's journey can meet him at the Tavern in the Mists to complete final tasks. Forging the Legendary cloak unlocks access to Ordos, Fire-God of the Yaungol, a world boss on the Timeless Isle.
Siege of Orgrimmar Raid
The Siege of Orgrimmar is a two-part raid spanning 14 bosses. The first section, Vale of Eternal Sorrows, takes players through the scarred ruins of the Vale. The second section, Gates of Retribution, pushes through Orgrimmar's defenses. The final encounter is against Garrosh Hellscream himself.

World Bosses
Five new world bosses are tied to the August Celestials. Each represents a trial faced by Emperor Shaohao. Chi-Ji tests hope, Yu'lon tests wisdom, Niuzao tests fortitude, and Xuen tests restraint. Ordos is available only to those with the Legendary cloak.
PvP Season 14
Season 14 introduces Grievous Gladiator sets and a more accessible PvP system with catch-up gear and no rating lock. A new mount is available after winning 100 3v3 matches or 40 RBGs.
Celestial Dungeon Season 3
Garrosh's forces have seized control of Pandaria's dungeons. The Celestial Witness buff increases damage and healing when all four August Celestials answer the call. Kor'kron Banners empower enemies, and bosses may use abilities from Siege of Orgrimmar lieutenants.
Challenge Mode Season 3
Season 3 introduces Diamond tier, above Platinum. Times are reflected in the Challenge Mode menu.
Proving Grounds
The Proving Grounds offer solo role-based challenges for tanks, healers, and damage dealers. Four difficulty modes are available: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Endless. Players can test their skills without durability damage or potions.
The update launches on June 2, 2026, with regional maintenance.
