The latest major update for Throne And Liberty, version 3.19.0, has launched, introducing a significant new endgame activity alongside a suite of quality-of-life improvements and system overhauls. The headline addition is the Tower of Greed, a procedurally generated PvE dungeon that promises to challenge players and unravel a new chapter in the game's lore.

This new activity, accessible by completing the Side Story Codex: Tower of Greed, features randomly generated floors with unique rooms, mechanics, and quests. The dungeon's difficulty scales dynamically with party size, supporting solo adventurers or groups of up to six players. A checkpoint system allows for progress saving and party member changes between floors, offering flexibility for longer play sessions. The tower's narrative centers on investigating the past of a character named Calanthia and the true purpose of the mysterious structure itself.

Coinciding with the update is a limited-time event running from January 29 through February 12. Daily login rewards will grant special Mystic Keys. These keys unlock Mystic Portals containing a treasure hunting minigame where players solve puzzles to find hidden chests. Rewards for this event include an Amitoi companion, a Morph transformation, and various character progression materials.

Beyond the new content, Update 3.19.0 delivers substantial revisions to several core systems. The Amitoi Expedition system has been completely revamped. It now focuses on gathering skills, with Amitoi sent out to collect materials or fulfill contracts. Key changes include expedition duration being determined by location rather than fixed time intervals, the introduction of a fatigue mechanic preventing immediate re-dispatch, and regional matching bonuses that reduce both expedition time and fatigue recovery. Players can now manage up to three concurrent expeditions, one per region. Successfully completed expeditions grant both Expedition XP and Lifeskill XP, and contribute progress toward unlocking time-limited Boss Hunt Expeditions with bonus rewards.

Housing receives a significant expansion of customization options. Players can now modify individual wall and fence shapes by crafting the desired forms from the Craft Furniture menu. Two distinct regional styles are available for houses in Kastleton and Vienta Village. Crafting these new shapes requires Adhesive, a new item made from Lime Powder and Volcanic Ash, which are rare gathering drops from Rocks and Dirt or purchasable from merchants. Wallpaper and flooring can now be applied to specific sections of a house instead of the entire structure. A new collaboration feature allows house owners to add other players as collaborators, granting them permissions to place stored furniture, move items, and apply cosmetic changes, though they cannot dye furniture or add new items to storage. Furniture tooltips have been improved to show total ownership and location, and the interior view now renders players and NPCs outside the home.

Several other progression and interface systems have been updated. A new tab in the Artifact menu allows for the swapping and upgrading of individual stats on Rare Artifacts, using materials earned in the Tower of Greed. The Mirror Boutique now supports configuration for Custom Footprint, Return, and Morph visual effects, including the option to disable effects granted by DaVinci's Favor. The Adventure Codex expands with a new Oath Ritual chapter, while completion requirements for many Dimensional Circle Exploration entries have been reduced.

Quality-of-life improvements are plentiful. The Combat Meter HUD widget now includes a reset button, and the Combat Analyzer features a dropdown to review past encounter data. Rune tooltips display equipment type compatibility icons. The Skills menu tooltip now shows stat values based on equipped matching material types and highlights relevant gear slots. Inventory management is enhanced with tab-full indicators and a new storage button to automatically consolidate duplicate item stacks. Guild Treasure Chest notifications now detail specific items received.

The update addresses a long list of bug fixes and adjustments. Critical PvP issues were resolved, including a problem where allied guilds could be matched against each other in Boonstone and Riftstone battles and incorrect ranking displays in Talisman Delivery Operations. Various skill interactions have been corrected across multiple weapon classes including Sword and Shield, Longbow, Staff, Wand, Spear, and Orb. These fixes primarily address issues where certain debuffs, like Movement Speed reduction or Healing Reduction, incorrectly bypassed Weaken Resistance. Specific weapon skill bugs, such as inconsistent Ignite application on the Junobote's Inferno spear skill or incorrect damage calculations for Orb Basic Attacks, have been resolved.

Dungeon and world geometry received attention. In the Halls of Tragedy, objects around the maze were adjusted to prevent players from jumping over walls. On Tyrant’s Isle and Isle of Terror, adjustments were made to prevent players from getting stuck in geysers while in rat form and to reposition crystals placed too close to geysers. An issue causing void tiles in the Colossal Coliseum has been fixed. General stability improvements include reduced memory usage on Xbox platforms to address frequent crashes and a fix for Lifeskilling XP not being granted from specific gathering nodes on the Floating Islands.

Interface and menu navigation see numerous refinements. Party Matchmaking links can now be posted in chat. Shop tooltips for Amitoi and Morph items contain additional information. Crafting interfaces are more user-friendly. Ore Selection Chests can be opened directly from the Crafting NPC menu if a recipe lacks sufficient ore, and displayed Sollant costs now include applicable taxes. Search bars have been added to the top of item lists and within the Settings menu. Default sort orders group items with multiple crafting methods together. New shortcuts allow for swapping between Stellarite types. Visual indicators in the Furniture Crafting and Cooking menus now highlight items required for accepted Contracts. The HUD's item acquisition notification queue clears upon teleporting, and the Matchmaking button has been repositioned in group content menus for better visibility.
