The world of Arkesia continues to evolve in Lost Ark with the arrival of the Twilight Isle update. This major content drop introduces the mysterious Cadarum Isles, a challenging new Abyssal Dungeon, and a suite of progression events designed to help players prepare for the next chapter. The update is scheduled to go live on June 10, 2026, following a six-hour maintenance period.
The Cadarum Isles
Following the defeat of Kazeros, the Cadarum Isles have emerged from the mists beyond the Sea of Gienah. Players must be Item Level 1700 or higher and have completed the main story quest "Inherited Will" to access this new region. The episode begins by interacting with "Journey's Footsteps" in Iceblood Plateau, Shushire, with additional starting points available in Elnead, South Kurzan, and Bellion Ruins.
Key features of the Cadarum Isles include:
- A new ship called the Luminas, provided at Level 6 during the main story quest. Upgrades and exclusive crew members are planned for a future update.
- An Ocean Liner for travel between the Cadarum Isles and other continents, available after visiting the region.
- New achievements and Knowledge Transfer for the main story quest.
- Collectibles including World Tree Leaves #119 and #120, a new Sea Bounty, and Mokoko Seeds scattered throughout the islands.
- New items from wandering merchants, Stronghold Exchange NPCs, and craftable recipes via Alchemist NPCs in major cities.
Notably, the Cadarum Isles do not feature Adventurer's Tome, Chaos Gates, Field Bosses, or Trade Skills gathering nodes. Some Yaruz Rapport Quests and Yonfay Rapport progress will be temporarily inaccessible during the main story quest.
Horizon Cathedral Abyssal Dungeon
A new 4-player Abyssal Dungeon called Horizon Cathedral opens one week after the update on June 17. This endgame challenge consists of three stages, each with two gates, and requires a party of four players. Entry requirements are tied to completing the Cadarum Isles episode, with Item Level thresholds of 1700 for Stage 1, 1720 for Stage 2, and 1750 for Stage 3.
Rewards from Horizon Cathedral include Character-Bound Gold, Graced Shards, and Ark Grid Cores. A new crafting NPC named Deni appears in major cities, allowing players to use Graced Shards to craft Ark Grid Cores, Astrogems, and upgrade materials. The dungeon features infinite revives with a 10-second cooldown, though a party wipe results in a failed attempt.
Progression Events and Rewards
Five progression events run from June 10 through September 16, 2026, designed to support new and returning players:
- Kazeros Challenge Express: For characters between Item Level 1640 and 1701, offering a 300% honing success rate boost through 1700, a 78% discount on honing materials from 1640 to 1680, and 150,000 bound gold across milestones.
- Twilight Road: A follow-up event for characters Item Level 1700 to 1730, providing 120,000 bound gold, Ark Grid support, and honing materials at every 5 Item Level increments.
- Mokoko Bootcamp: Pairs veteran players with new and returning adventurers in raids, adding Horizon Cathedral, Kazeros Raids, and Shadow Raid: Serca to eligible content. Weekly honing material limits increase by 200%.
- Twilight Exchange Shop: A daily token shop offering progression materials, with 200 coins earned per day from Chaos Dungeons and Guardian Raids.
- Free Powerpass: An Event Trixion Pass to South Rimeria, claimable until September 16.
Western Exclusive Cosmetics
On June 17, the 2026 Global Exclusive cosmetics collection arrives, featuring the Bloody Dragonslayer armor set. This dark fantasy armor, inspired by a warrior who crafted gear from dragon scales and horns, includes a unified single-piece set in Crimson and Ashen color variants. New weapon skins, a mount, a pet, and an exclusive wallpaper complete the collection.
Class Balance and Raid Gold Changes
